PROFILE
Information Management Center (IMC) was launched in 1991 by the then Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.V. Ramana to extend high quality financial management services to all fraternity members of the Andhra University. It aims to provide exceptional accountability of its other arms of salary disbursement , income tax issues, information of CPF & CPS, Accounts budget and annual accounts. This Centre inclines to resolve heavy usage of paper in matters of financial administration set up in the university system. Further this centre upholds its promise to facilitate the successful provision of decent, safe discharge of prudent and timely administration of salary disbursement to the University fraternity. Over the longer term, a great deal of intelligence will be added upon this structure as well as highly specialized automation capabilities to create a dynamic infrastructure that can actually self-adjust or tune itself to the contemporary demands.
Dr K V S N Raju, Dr P V G D Prasad Reddy, Prof V Dharma Rao were In-Charge Heads of this centre. Prof P S Avadhani served in the capacity of the Director from 2011 to 2013, Prof S Prasanna Sree served in the capacity of the Director from 2013 to 2023. Prof. M.Jagannadha Rao served in the capacity of the Director from 2023 to 2019 and Prof. Kunjam Nageswara Rao is the present Director.
