The department of Mechanical Engineering was started in 2010. The curriculum is in par with the recent trends of the industry. The curriculum covers all important areas of Mechanical Engineering like Design, Thermodynamics, Manufacturing, Fluid Mechanics, Industrial Engineering, CAD/ CAM. This ensures that students have both fundamental and thorough knowledge of the subject. This helps the students in getting placed in reputed industries, companies and in pursuing higher studies at prestigious universities.The department has qualified staff and well equipped lab facilities. The lab experiments meet the standards of the industry and the new national education policy, 2020. This helps the students in gaining hands on practical knowledge. The department is always vibrant with youthful energy of the students who also conduct annual technical events like YANTRIKHA.
