Andhra University College of Engineering for women was established with a motto –
“Educate a man, you educate one person, educate a women, you educate a complete family”.

Adhering to the Noble motto A.U.College of Engineering for Women(AUCEW) was established in the year 2010 under self-finance category exclusively for girls to ensure nation building by tapping the reservoir of talent in women. It is one of the constituent colleges of Andhra University, approved by the AICTE. The college offers Bachelor of Technology in the following branches - Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Computer Science & Systems Engineering courses. The Students are admitted through a Common Entrance Test Conducted by Andhra Pradesh (APEAPCET).

AUCEW has dedicated and motivated faculty to inculcate concepts from fundamentals to advanced level using pedagogical methods and a variety of teaching and learning techniques. Added to this, the campus is equipped with modern infrastructure such as conventional classrooms, e-class rooms, library & reading room, computer lab, WiFi, laboratories as per curriculum, soft skills lab, playground and hostel for girls.

AUCEW has a very good seminar hall with a seating capacity of 200 which facilitates the needs of the departments to organize workshops and seminars.

A placement cell with a professor in-charge is looking after the campus placements inviting various institutes for recruitment. Students are placed in several prestigious companies like IBM, WIPRO, INFOSYS, ACCENTURE, THOUGHT WORKS, ANALYTICAL QUOTIENT to name a few.

Students also have the opportunity to participate in the skill development programmes available in the university at A. U. College of Engineering campus. Unique courses such as Mechatronics lab., Robotic lab., CNC Machines lab., Advanced Manufacturing Lab., etc. are offered as part of skill development programme. Students of all years are encouraged to join in courses that boost their future career.
