Bangalore.
23. AU NSS Cell and UNICEF jointly organised World Children’s Day celebrations on 20.11.2018
at T.L.N. Sabha Hall, Andhra University.
24. The NSS Cell in collaboration with District Nodal Officer for AIDS Control, Visakhapatnam
organized a Massive Rally on World AIDS Day on 01.12.2018, with the theme of “Know your
status”.
25. NSS Programme Officers formed Multi Disciplinary Teams (MDTs) to work in GramaDarshini
programme. About 138 MDT Teams and 944 school teachers participated in Visakhapatnam.
26. AU NSS Cell held a one day University level NSS Programme Officers’ Meeting on
12.12.2018, to review the NSS activities of 2017-18 and to chalk out the programmes for the year
2018-19.

27. AU NSS celebrated “National Voters Day” on 25 January, its foundation day. All the NSS Units
under the jurisdiction of Andhra University organised this day in a befitting banner.

28. In the 70 Republic Day celebrations at Andhra University, about 250 NSS volunteers and NSS
Programme Officers of local colleges participated in the Republic Day celebrations on 26.01.2019.
