TDR-HUB RESEARCH COMMITTEE (TRC)

The TDR-HUB Research Committee (TRC) shall consists of the following members.

i. Dean, A.U. TDR-HUB as Chairperson.

ii.Two faculty members of the concerned Subject, where one of them shall be a Research specific expert, nominated by the Vice-chancellor.

iii.An expert member (internal / external) who holds the expertise in the concerned area of research, nominated by the Vice-chancellor

iv. One Member from the A.U. TDR-HUB Board.

v. Research Supervisor / Co Supervisor

Conduct of RRMs or Colloquiums or any other activity connected to the research progress of Research Scholars shall be carried out in the Central Facility at A.U. TDR-HUB by TRC

TRC shall conduct Colloquium within 4 weeks from the receipt of information from the Candidate through Research Supervisor. The presence of Research Supervisor is mandatory for RRMs or Colloquiums or any other activity connected to the research progress of Research Scholars. If the Supervisor is not available, Co Supervisor's presence is mandatory. The presence of both Supervisor and Cosupervisor is desirable.

The TRC is empowered to accept the scholar's work for thesis submission or may advise him to revise and reappear for Colloquium with modifications. The TRC shall specify in writing, the reasons/ remarks for revision, duly signed by all members. Change of title of thesis (which is final) shall be advised by TRC during colloquium, if necessary

3. SUB-COMMITTEE:

The dean, A.U. TDR-HUB nominates a Sub-committee on the approval of the Vice-chancellor / Chairman of A.U. TDR-HUB on any such requirement towards the smooth functioning of A.U. TDR-HUB.

QUORUM:

The quorum shall be greater than 50% of the total members of the committee/board. The Chairman of AU TDR-HUB does not involve in Quorum; however for any decision, if the quorum is exactly 50%, then the chairman will join the quorum to decide.
