11. International Relations



               International Students
                The International Affairs wing of Andhra University started functioning way back in late Nineties'. It
                has  an  Advisory  Board  headed  by  Hon'ble  Vice-Chancellor  as  Chairman  and  Dean,  International
                affairs  as  Convener.  International  Affairs  Office  is  being  headed  by  Dean  to  look  after  the
                International, NRI, PIO and OCI admissions in different UG, PG, Ph.D, Diploma and other programs
                offered by  University.  Supernumerary  seats of  15% to  foreigners  and  5% to  NRIs/PIOs/OCIs  are
                available   in    the   University    Campus     Colleges    and    also   in    Affiliated
                Colleges in each course subject to eligibility.
























                Activities of International Affairs

                     International Students and Research scholars' admissions including NRIs, PIOs and OCIs
                     MOUs with foreign universities
                     Design and implementation of joint and twinning programs
                     Conduct of International Students Annual Meet
                     Counseling to International Students
                     Foundation courses to International Students
                     International Joint Research programs through MoUs
                     Promotion of AU courses at International level etc

               Special provisions to International Students
                     Admissions are open for all courses offered by the University on merit.
                     A  special  office  headed  by  a  Senior  Professor  designated  as  Dean,  International  Affairs  is
                      available to facilitate all support services without any delay.
                      Hostel facility is available to boys and girls Students
                      International Students are permitted to pursue programs of their interest offered by School of
                      Distance Education along with the regular courses.
                     Purified drinking water.
                      Round the clock high speed Wi-Fi facility.
                      Access to the learning and sports infrastructural facilities.
                      Participation in cultural events along with local students.
                      Campus and hostel atmosphere reflecting unity in.
                     Diversity and harmonious relationships.
                      Exclusive browsing center at Dr.V.S.Krishna Central Library
                      Transparent academic grading system
                     Soft skills and skill up-gradation are provided on priority in curriculum design.
